WHO WE ARE

Robert (Rob) H. Good leads and manages The Good Group. With over 30 years of experience in the industry,  Rob is a licensed professional Civil Engineer and Real Estate Broker in Florida and Georgia. He has sourced and placed over $350 million in commercial real estate transactions, increased the revenue of a national land development practice by 100%, and started and managed successful offices in the Southeast and Sunbelt regions. Between collaborating with clients and partners, and creating value for stakeholders, his mission is to connect, create, and build with excellence, integrity, and innovation.
                                               
     Rob has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA with International Studies (China and Vietnam) from Georgia State University, a certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University, and designated as a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). He resides with his wife, Shannon, in Jupiter, Florida, enjoying time with family and walking the beach while strategizing the next real estate deal. When spending more time in the new office in West Palm Beach, he remains committed to the business in Cherokee County, Georgia, helping the established local team in place in downtown Woodstock.

Ron Engberg is an accomplished site designer with decades of professional experience in the commercial site development field and over 30 years experience in the civil field. Ron is experienced in planning, design, and permitting of various types and sizes of projects, from banks and restaurants to apartment complexes, shopping centers, and hotels.

   At The Good Group, Ron manages all aspects of commercial and residential development site designs and plans; permitting; research of jurisdiction code and regulations at all related levels of government; and coordinates with construction team members on site to ensure our contracted projects keep moving forward as planned.

Emily L. Hardigree is a licensed commercial real estate advisor with The Good Group’s Woodstock, Georgia branch. She works closely with Rob, providing real estate advisory, brokerage, consulting, and development for commercial properties. Emily has been in the real estate industry since 2021, and she specializes in site selection and due diligence for land development and commercial properties in metro Atlanta, Georgia. With a knack for marketing and negotiating commercial deals, she has successfully closed over $20 million worth of transactions in Cherokee County and the northern metro Atlanta areas. She has also completed numerous leases for commercial space in the suburban downtown markets of Woodstock and Ball Ground, two of the fastest-growing cities in Cherokee County, Georgia. 

    Emily holds a Bachelor’s in Business with a focus in Marketing from Valdosta State University’s Langdale-Harvey College of Business, ranking among the top 5% of business colleges worldwide. She grew up in Valdosta, Georgia, and she has an excellent ability to connect and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and interests. Emily now lives in mid-town Atlanta with her partner, Avery, and their dog, Clifford. She enjoys exploring various communities in Atlanta and discovering new places to eat, shop, and learn.

Bryson Stephens is a licensed commercial real estate advisor with The Good Group’s West Palm Beach branch. Bryson specializes in multi-family residential opportunities and commercial retail properties across the southern and central regions of Florida, as well as the Carolinas. Before his tenure at The Good Group, he served as a commercial agent, providing guidance to investors in single-tenant net leases and assisting 1031 exchange buyers. As a civil engineer, Bryson offers valuable experience in collaborating with real estate developers on a variety of commercial and residential land development projects throughout the Southeast.

    A proud alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Bryson earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, concentrating on Land Development. He maintains engineering and real estate licenses in both Florida and North Carolina. He resides in Palm Beach County. Bryson is an active member of the South Florida ULI chapter. Outside of his professional endeavors, he cherishes time spent outdoors, enjoying the water with his friends and family.

David is a licensed real estate advisor and director at The Good Group’s West Palm Beach, Florida office. During his 20 years in commercial real estate, he worked in both landlord and tenant representation. While in the San Francisco Bay Area, David acted as “Single Point of Contact” to large multi-national firms completing lease acquisition and disposition assignments locally and in over 30 markets throughout the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.  His clients have included Blackstone, Foundry Networks, Blue Coat Systems, e2Open, AOL, Parsons Transportation Group, Navigator’s Insurance, Callan Associates, Mullen & Filippi, LLP, among many others. 

   Early in David’s career, he worked in capital markets with Morgan Stanley. He graduated from Tulane University with a BA in Economics, and he is fluent in the German language and culture.  David currently resides in the Southland Park neighborhood of West Palm Beach. He enjoys playing tennis and backgammon in his free time.

Shannon Good holds a Florida Real Estate license, which she obtained in 2004. Within the past twenty years, she has gained experience in both commercial and residential real estate within the states of Georgia and Florida. 

     Born and raised in South Florida, Shannon attended Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she studied biology. While she visits Georgia throughout the year to see her daughter, she now resides in Jupiter, Florida with her husband of 28 years, Rob Good. In her free time, she enjoys going to Pilates and has recently hit 750 classes. She also spends time reading and attending Bible studies.

William Lawyer joined the Woodstock office September of 2024. He is responsible for the banking and lending relationships in Georgia. He brings over 21 years of real estate, business, and financial experience to the table from commercial real estate brokerage to property management and market analysis, budgets, and cash flow management. Originally from Rosedale, New York, William and his family lived for many years in the New York City area where he excelled in commercial real estate, business, and consulting. Lawyer and his family moved south to Duluth, Georgia in November of 2020 to be closer to immediate family in Charleston, SC. Prior to joining The Good Group,

Mr. Lawyer was Investment Sales Director at Commercial Realty Nation (Carle Place, NY) with responsibility for management, landlord leasing, representation, and disposition services of a five-million-dollar investment portfolio. During his tenure, he negotiated numerous profitable leases with credit tenants. William also worked previously with commercial real estate investment firm Marcus & Millichap as a Property Investment Analyst in Brooklyn, NY.

    William Lawyer is currently attending Georgia Tech University, pursuing his Masters at the School of Building Construction Master of Real Estate Development. Lawyer previously graduated from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Investment and Finance. He also holds an Associate of Science in Business Management Science from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Property Management, and Title Closer Certificate from the New York Real Estate Institute. William also holds a Real Associate Certificate from the REAP (Real Estate Associate Program).

Elise Noelle Good is a seasoned social media manager, editor, and writer with a diverse background in digital communications and professional writing. She holds a Master of Arts in Professional Writing and a Graduate Certificate in Creative Writing from Kennesaw State University, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies. As the Social Media Manager for The Good Group, Elise has driven an increase in social traffic and improved post engagement by over 77%. Alongside her marketing expertise, she has worked on manuscripts and academic projects as a freelance editor and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kennesaw State University. Her editorial background spans developmental editing, copyediting, and fact-checking, with experience in both U.S. and international editorial styles.

   In addition to her professional roles, Elise founded the Roswell Writing Group, where she leads bimonthly workshops and provides in-depth editing support to fellow writers. Her own work has been published in literary journals such as Variant Literature Journal, Decomp Literary Journal, and Kennesaw Journal of Undergraduate Research. Combining her editorial skills with her expertise in social media, Elise is dedicated to helping brands and individuals tell their stories effectively and creatively.
